Beginner's Budget Online Guitar Store (or BB) was established in 8th of August, 2011 as an effort to fill the gap of budget guitar market in Malaysia. Currently we are just a small business with small capital, but we do always aim to expand our product range and services to cater the needs of all guitar lovers, especially beginners.
Anyone who plays musical instrument will agree with this simple fact: Music is expensive. This is not without reasons. To make a musical instrument (a guitar in our context) simply takes lots of time and skill as well as costly materials (such as mahogany, spruce, rosewood, ebony etc). And, when consider the limited market, musical instruments have to be sold in a higher margin.
Therefore, cost is sometimes a barrier to music lovers. BB's mission is to provide quality and affordable guitar or guitar related products to all guitar lovers. As you may observe, we sell our products in package (in individual unit as well). This is our strategy to reduce the cost and hence offer you something cheaper compared to the market outside.
On the other hand, there are some really "cheap" guitars out there. Well, as a rule of thumb, you get what you pay for. A very cheap guitar serve more than a collection than an instrument. As a guitar player myself, I had seen how the neck of cheap guitar cracked, not to mention the annoying sound quality. Though it´s true that a beginner won´t be able to distinguish the difference between a good and a bad guitar, if he stays committed to learn for a couple of months, in a time frame of no more than six and twelve months he will need to buy a new one. Cheap guitars are more tough to tune and they go off tune much often than a top quality guitar, this can be very annoying since the guitar player have to be tuning it very often.
This is why we don't sell very cheap guitar here. So why buy from us?
